1 day before hari raya!

What I'm doing for hari raya? I have cooked a rendang... yeah... rendang ayam.. believed or not?

Actually I was assistant cook for my mother in law... she preparing all the ingredient and I only cook it in a large wok..

My wife and her mother also preparing 'ketupat'... but this ketupat in little bit special compare to others... this is because they are using a nipah leave... nipah is palm used for thatching.. So, result will give ketupat a nice aroma and some tone color compare to normal coconut leave..

My wife also preparing beef curry and beef in spicy chilli paste... yummy delicious..

Usually I do a house cleaning on previous years... since my wife nephew is around for that job, so I just make my day busy on kitchen site.

This is the special ketupat that using nipah leave... Note above that after its boiled until cooked, it is need thy in the sun until it is dry... or your ketupat will easily mouldy by next day.

Baliikkk... Kampung!!!!

Part 1...

A day before we all balik kampung to Melaka, I'm asking my wife to cut her hair.. I love women with short hair...

There's a few new opening hair saloon in my place.. So, in the evening... We have go all around new shop lots building to look over before decided on which hair saloon we will go in...

My wife decided to go to Allanz hair saloon... In same time I also decided to do a trim to my kids hair... I hate to see to much curly on their hair..

Part 2.

Later, we move to Sri Melati Thai restaurant for our berbuka session.. We came in the good mood and back in a bad mood... Why? Because the food we ordered only arrived after near to 1 hour... That is after we give a "kaw-kaw" words to the supervisor... At least.. give some snack to us while waiting for the food... Hey..!!! hungary people can be bad, u know!!

Part 3.

At 4am, I've waked-up my wife to get ready for the journey.. I only sleep about 1 hour before going out to wash my car, having some mamak mee goreng and then go home to watch some football games...

Around 5, we already left our house and made our journey to the south... We have make a stopped at McDonalds Sungai Besi for our sahur...

We arrived at Melaka at 7.30am. After meet my in-law, unloading all bags... I take a nap until my kid wake me up at 2pm :)

Session at Kluang Station

Ahhh... I wondering if my blog starting to be "Jalan2x Cari Makan" site.. :)

Yesterday, as usual on this week, I having food outside again.. Going back from work, both of us decide to have a simple meals - the great instant noodle Maggi - as a berbuka puasa.. I've "cooked" Tomyam for me and Curry to my wife.. ehehehehe..

After complete my additional hours job at 9pm, we make a move to Tesco Ampang. Usually it just take 10 minutes from my house at this hour, but yesterday traffic is quite messy with lots of car.. I think most people to east coast already made their move for hari raya at their kampungs.

Since there's much cars at Tesco too, I just made a move to next shop lots just next to the Tesco to park our car. I saw then all other cars also follow make a move to park here other then stuck in jam waiting for slot at car park.

There we are.. My favorite spot for Kluang Station - at Tesco Ampang.. Me as usually Mee Siam with Cham ais.. I asking akak what she want.. and she said .. "akak nak nasi" .. huhuhuu.. i thought at this time she will already full. We order them nasi lemak ayam goreng & milo suam.. While my wife with her teh tarik... and nasi goreng (after 5 minutes thinking decide for food).

My favorite Mee Siam and wonderful cham ais.. Hey papa rich.. This is the way cham ais should tasted. Even stall can make better then you do.

This is nasi lemak ayam goreng for both of our kids.. Later then was conquer by akak since adik just like to have a ayam goreng only.

After diner session, i take Jalan Ampang and my decision is horrible. Lots of cars and road is jam. Until at the junction in front of Ampang Park, the road then is very clear. I making few stop at 24 hours bank to pay my car loan, house loan and credit card before we take a smart tunnel back to Cheras.

The great legend at Jalan Ampang.. of coz the KLCC.. Nice view at night with all lights on both towers.

Berbuka poser for ACS on their own.

This year, there's no budget to ACS company to entertain their staff for berbuka puasa. I've make my own initiative to do the berbuka puasa agenda within the selected ACS staff. I manage to get 8 peoples and we had choose CyberView as a venue.

Amzi - SAN admin. The oldest among us. Old in the age but heart is still young :) He is very knowledgable in UNIX and Hitachi Storage.

Kushairi - UNIX admin at EDS and was my colleague at HP. He is a true penguin head too.

This was Sarjan nasi arab with a big piece of mutton. Actually the chef should cut it into small pieces, but he was asking a special request to having this big size ribs. How do you feel tonigt sarjan? is it your head start dizzing :)


AFTER the meals session we having lots of chatting, laughing and deprecation.

Night supper at mamak

Today, I need to work until 9.00pm. Since in the morning I need to sent my car to do some inspection on the engine, so I was asking my wife to go home using ERL and will pick up her at Bandar Tun Razak station in the evening.

Since waiting for my wife, I just working to complete my task. Until i just realize that it is already near to 7pm. I don't know what happen to the celcom line this evening, my wife cannot reach me while when i'm called her, I can hear like somebody was pressing a button and a voice laughing at the back..

Later then I do reached her and actually she already 30 minutes arrived and was at tailorshop nearby picking our baju raya. I have asked her to buy any food like murtabak or popia at the pasar ramadan nearby, while i'm rushing to get to her waiting place. Berbuka time just on time when I reached at her waiting place and I grab some murtabak in the car. We then stop at nursery to pickup my kids and then going home and I continue to complete my work.

After 9pm, I asked my wife to went out for supper. The destination is Hajris Bistro Restaurant @ restoran mamak :) Before that in the car, both of kids said there already satiated, but when our food arrived, look who get finished with it :)

Berbuka Puasa at the Taman Tasik...

Last Saturday, we decide to have berbuka at the lake garden just near to our house... We bring ware from house and then just walk to the pasar ramadan just next to the taman tasik...

About 10 minutes before berbuka time, we take our seats. While my wife preparing the table, I'm watching our kids that happily run here and there... just to make sure they not overthrow themself to the lake..

Making something difference then others is fun.. Yeah.. You all should try too with your family...

The table is just next to the fringe.. Nice rite..!! Look to our food we buy and also ware that we bring from our home. Adik look like already cannot 'tahan'..

A group of duck... This really bother both of kids as they never seen a duck before... You know what will happen rite??
