My Favourite Thai Food / Tom Yam Place...

When I comment about redmummy, I think she misunderstood about my comment. I don't mean about the great service that she received - well I don't care about it anyway.. Only I comment about the food taste.. Well, I have tasted a few place that she recommended and I don't think that it is that good...

Difference people maybe difference their gullet will accept and taste the food.. So, I hope she could read twice and understand the writing mean...

When I want to have Thai food - specially it is already on payday. I will choose this place.

1. Sri Ayutthaya

The great Place to have Thai Food and Tomyam. You can have big bowl tomyam or personal tomyam. Everything.. Tomyam Kung... Tomyam Poktek.. Only that, you need to bring your thick wallet together.

2. CHITRALADA Palace at Great Eastern Mall

This is another great place but expensive. No regret to pay them for the great food.

You want white tomyam?

3. Ali Tomyam.

The budget place, but it is still serving a very nice food and always full house. Located just across of Dato' Keramat Mousque that are near to Pasar Dato Keramat.

The Ikan 3 rasa and udang tepung for ME are really nice...

4. Kafe 2 Musim.

When I was work with Hewlett Packard, I always having lunch or dinner with other colleagues at Pusat Bandar Damansara. This kafe servered a quite good food - I give it grade B.

You also can have a nice warm tea - South African Red Bush Tea. An aromatic & sweet-smelling tea, filled with antioxidants.

This cafe it’s located near Subway Sandwiches or Ali Maju and it is quite easy to find.

Monsoon Raining Season....

Hey.... The monsoon season is coming again... Every end of the year, the monsoon will start attacking from east Malaysia and this time, most of the day will be raining... Some state at the east of peninsular already getting flooding...

For me in west site of peninsular, we having a problem to dry up our clothes... Most of people in Malaysia, we don't have dry machine... Because most of time, our weather will be so hot..

So, what I'm doing.... We hung-up our clothes under a ceiling fan.... So, we transform our dining hall to a dry area... ehehehe...

The dining table... We move it to the site.

This is how we dry up our clothes in raining day... I mean if 2 days, it is still not dry.

Ugly look is it?

Kolek Cafe... Not so tasty as been told.

When I was reading redmummy blog, she does mention about new restaurant at new shop lots at Bandar Seri Permaisuri - Kolek Cafe.

It is few time already I saw this restaurant when I passing by the road in front of this shop lots and said to my wife, we should try this new restaurant.

It was last Monday, when I was working at home and thinking about my lunch. Since it is just near to my house, I take my step just walking to Kolek Cafe.

The interior is quite good for the new Malay restaurant, but when I do step into it, there's no welcome from the waitress even with some smile. I just then take my sits and waiting for somebody taking my order. It is bad, the waitress is busy or just making herself busy and 1 ladies beside their office just step out without looking at me.

If in other restaurant, I will just take my but out from the restaurant, but since redmummy do mention their asam pedas is good so I just wait till they are coming taking my order. It is new 4 minutes, until the ladies come back to her office and notice me alone without any dish on my table. She came with smile and apologies. That is what people should do and my heart automatically cool down and look into the menu card that she bring.

I'm asking for asam pedas ikan merah + plain lemonade. My order then come in 3 minutes and serving is look good. They are using claypot to served the asam pedas + including 1/2 boiled salted egg and raw vege. The smell of asam pedas is really good and my appetite is really opened to have it. The gravy is good for me, only that the fish is tasteless. Even I think it is taste and smell stinking. Well, my opinion for good asam pedas, the fish should feel sour too. How to do it? Instead put your fish on ice in display box, better to have it soak in the tamarind juice, so when you cook it, it won't tasteless and stinking.

I dunno if redmummy is not so good to judge and taste if food is ok or not, or she just look into the interior compare to the food taste.

Shittt .... You Padlock.

Last Tuesday, after I'm back from Jusco Cheras, my second padlock was stucked/jammed and unable to open.

Bad padlock, because of you I've to called the professional and cost me RM 60 to open you. Buick is a padlock from Italy and guaranteed anti allen key. The professional is only take him less then 1 minutes to break the padlock USING the allen key.

This is my second padlock on the grail door that was stucked / jammed.

I've spent 40 minutes here waiting for professional to come and broke the padlock.
